On March 26, 2013 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the United Arab Emirates Yuriy Polurez had a meeting with Undersecretary of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the UAE Sheikh Abdullah Mohammed Bin Butti Al Hamed.

During the meeting they discussed bilateral cooperation between two countries. Special emphasis was placed on measures supporting political dialogue and preparation for the third session of the Intergovernmental Ukrainian–Emirati commission on trade and economic cooperation.
