On January 7, for the first time in the history of UAE’s capital, Ukrainian community celebrated the Christmas Mass in Ukrainian. Fr. Yuriy Yurchyk the resident priest for the Ukrainians celebrated the Mass in St. Joseph's Cathedral, Abu Dhabi.

During the Liturgy representatives of the Ukrainian community in the UAE have prayed, in particular, for peace and calm in Ukraine, for its unity and for the health of its soldiers.

This event became yet another indication of further spiritual togetherness building by Ukrainians living in the Emirates.
