On 10 April in St.Mary’s Catholic Church the Easter charity fair took place. On 11 April charity fair, Easter vigil and consecration of Easter cakes were held. On 12 April Easter Divine Liturgy and consecration of Easter cakes were held in the Greek orthodox church in Jebel Ali. Fr. Yuriy Yurchyk, the resident priest for the Ukranians, celebrated the Mass.

Also on April 12 Easter Picnic was held in one of the Dubai parks. This event was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Approximately 200 Ukrainians took part in it. Collective cooking of the tasty dishes, Ukrainian national emotional warmth, pleasant communication and entertainment show were the factors which contributed to that atmosphere.
