Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University, National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine invite everyone interested to participate in the Second Kharkiv International Legal Forum.
Launched in 2017, the annual Kharkiv International Legal Forum has emerged as an open international platform for an open dialogue of leading international and Ukrainian experts and professionals, focused on elaborating common approaches to solving relevant legal problems in the context of globalization and removing the obstacles on the way to sustainable development
In 2017 the Forum hosted a plethora of panel discussions, round tables, workshops and other events. The renowned politicians, government officials and brilliant academics, top-level representatives of international organizations, experienced human rights activists and legal business experts from over 20 countries had successfully participated in the Forum as keynote speakers.
The specific focus of this year is legal developments in the era of digital economy. The four panel discussions will include recognized researchers, based in the US, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland and other countries, Judges of the Constitutional and Supreme Courts of Ukraine, representatives of the Delegation of the European Union in Ukraine, officers of the Observatory Missions of the OSCE and OECD and other respected institutions. The event will also include trainings, dedicated to the relevant issues of Corporate and Intellectual Property Law, a number of masterclasses on human rights and gender equality, meetings with the top-level government and judiciary representatives
The Forum participants will be able to attend a meeting with prof. Paul Gowder (University of Iowa, USA), presenting the Ukrainian translation of his book «The Rule of Law in the Real World», made by the professors of Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University. The recent findings of Kharkiv Civil Law School will be presented as well.
