On May 28-30, 2012 „Armoured Vehicles UAE 2012” conference was held in Abu Dhabi. Nine official delegations in particular from Ukraine attended the event. 12 companies from 9 countries presented their products to attendees.

The Ambassador of Ukraine to the UAE Yuriy Polurez, Defence Attaché Colonel Igor Shevtsov and diplomats of economic section of the Embassy participated in the conference. Colonel Igor Shevtsov presented to participants of the event the prospects of armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and products of the state-owned company „Kharkiv Morozov Machine Building Design Bureau”, which designs armoured vehicles. The presentation caused interest amongspecialists in the UAE and other countries.
