On 6 May, the newly appointed Ambassador of Ukraine to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Dr. Oleksandr Balanutsa, presented copies of his credentials to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Dr. Abdullatif Al Zayani.

The ceremony took place immediately following the working visit of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy to the Kingdom of Bahrain, which gave new momentum to the development of Ukrainian-Bahraini relations.

During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation, prospects for intensifying political dialogue, and the further development of partnership between Ukraine and Bahrain.
