As part of the official reception marking the 107th anniversary of the Unity Day of Ukraine, held on 28 January in Abu Dhabi within the framework of the Month of Ukraine in the UAE, the Embassy presented Ukraine’s economic and export potential.

A key element of the economic programme was the B2B networking initiative Taste Ukraine in the UAE — a presentation of Ukrainian food products that introduced members of the diplomatic corps, the business community, and partners to the opportunities of Ukraine’s agri-food sector, value-added innovative products, and prospects for cooperation in the UAE market.

The event brought together over 400 guests, who had the opportunity to explore products from more than 30 Ukrainian manufacturers. Ukrainian companies showcased a wide range of certified products compliant with international standards — from confectionery and snacks to dairy and organic products, sauces, beverages, and free-from categories.

The economic component organically complemented the overall concept of the reception, which combined culture, business, and international partnership, presenting Ukraine as a reliable, open, and forward-looking partner even amid the challenges of full-scale war.

As a continuation of the Taste Ukraine in the UAE initiative, the Embassy of Ukraine in Abu Dhabi officially opened the first permanent Taste Ukraine showroom — the first such space among Ukraine’s diplomatic missions abroad. The showroom will serve as a platform for showcasing Ukrainian brands, hosting business meetings, and developing commercial partnerships in the UAE.
