On the sidelines of the high-level segment of the 77th Session of the UN General Assembly, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba had a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The Ministers discussed the current state and ways of strengthening bilateral relations between Ukraine and the UAE.

Talking about trade and economic cooperation, the parties agreed to speed up free trade agreement negotiations and explored also implementation of new infrastructure projects.

The Ministers discussed ways of cooperation in the field of food security. Dmytro Kuleba informed about implementation of the "Grain initiative", within which Ukraine contributes to the stabilization of food security in the Middle East region.
