It was a special day — a day of gratitude, remembrance, and pride.

A day when we come together to honour those who stand in defence of Ukraine, its freedom, dignity, and independence.

💙💛 From the youngest to the oldest — everyone who came to the Embassy carried in their hearts the same feeling: love for Ukraine and faith in its Victory.

The event began with a moment of silence in memory of all those who gave their lives for Ukraine. Warm words of gratitude were expressed to our defenders, veterans, and volunteers — the true shield of our nation.

In his address, Ambassador of Ukraine to the UAE Dr. Oleksandr Balanutsa emphasized that the strength of Ukrainians lies in unity, mutual support, and faith in justice.

He thanked the Ukrainian community in the Emirates for its solidarity, compassion, and ongoing assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

📽️ The program featured screenings of thematic videos and a photo exhibition dedicated to courage, resilience, and love for the Motherland.

🏛️ Guests also had the opportunity to learn more about the work of the Embassy and engage in open conversation with the diplomats.

🍲 Ukrainian dishes, heartfelt talks, shared prayer, and the spirit of unity created an atmosphere of warmth — something especially precious far from home.
