In Chuhuiv, Kharkiv region, the President awarded militaries who proved themselves in the ATO area.

"On behalf of the Ukrainian nation, I, as President and Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, not only congratulate the glorious Ukrainian army on the Independence Day, but also take off my hat to you for having defended our freedom, state sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity," the President said at the ceremony.

The Head of State personally presented medals and orders to 15 servicemen.
