Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the United Arab Emirates Yuriy Polurez participated in the work of Ukrainian delegation that visited the capital of Qatar on March 26-29, 2012 in the framework of Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibition and Conference DIMDEX 2012. The delegation was led by Ukraine Navy Commander Admiral V.Maksymov.

DIMDEX is the only specialized maritime exhibition in the Middle East and North Africa. 150 participants from 25 countries presented their products during the event. According to organizers the exhibition was attended by over 7000 people representing leading companies producing naval equipment and weapons, naval forces commands and governmental bodies. 87 official delegations and 13 warships from 10 countries participated in the exhibition.
