On January 13-17, 2013 the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week was held. Participants from 150 countries, including international organizations and agencies attended the event. Ukrainian delegation headed by Chairman of the State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine Mr. Mykola Pashkevych and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine in the United Arab Emirates HE Polurez Yuriy took an active part in the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week hosted by Masdar company.

The Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week commenced with the 3rd session of the International Renewable Energy Agency’s (IRENA) General Assembly. The VI World Future Energy Summit (WFES-2013) became the highlight meeting of the Sustainability Week. For the first time as a part of the Week the International Water Summit and the Abu Dhabi International Renewable Energy Conference 2013 (ADIREC) were organized.
