Today, the newly appointed Ambassador of Ukraine to the United Arab Emirates, Oleksandr Balanutsa, presented his Letters of Credence to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates.

For every Ambassador of Ukraine, it is a great honor to represent our state abroad; however, serving Ukraine in the United Arab Emirates is both a special duty and a profound responsibility, as the UAE is rightfully regarded as one of the global leaders of our time, a model of sustainable development, wise governance, innovation, and humanitarian generosity.

During the solemn ceremony, the Ambassador conveyed to His Highness the warmest greetings from the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and the First Lady, Olena Zelenska, while expressing deep gratitude for the significant and consistent support that the United Arab Emirates has been extending to Ukraine in the humanitarian field, in particular in matters of the exchange of prisoners of war, as well as for the Emirati side’s active engagement and initiatives aimed at achieving peace and providing assistance to the Ukrainian people in these challenging times.

Both sides reaffirmed their determination to further develop and strengthen the partnership, guided by the interests of our peoples and the shared commitment to peace, stability, and sustainable development.

This day has become a symbol of a new chapter in Ukrainian-Emirati relations — relations founded on friendship, mutual respect, and a shared vision of the future.
