On August 28, 2025, the Ambassador of Ukraine to the UAE, Oleksandr Balanutsa, presented copies of his credentials to H.E. Omar Obaid AlHesan AlShamsi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates.

H.E. AlShamsi welcomed the new Ambassador and wished him success in fulfilling his duties, emphasizing the UAE’s commitment to further strengthening and developing cooperation with Ukraine in various fields.

Ambassador Oleksandr Balanutsa expressed his readiness to promote the advancement of bilateral relations and highlighted the important role of the UAE in the regional and international agenda.

Ukraine and the UAE reaffirmed their shared determination to deepen bilateral partnership. Both states will continue to develop their friendly relations, guided by common interests and the pursuit of sustainable development — for the benefit of the two friendly countries and their peoples.
