Comment by Ambassador of Ukraine to the United Arab Emirates
Dr. Oleksandr Balanutsa
Ukraine strongly rejects any accusations of alleged attacks on the residence of the Russian President. To date, the Russian side has not provided any convincing evidence of its allegations, as such evidence does not exist.
Such statements bear the hallmarks of information manipulation aimed at misleading the international community and undermining the peace initiatives that Ukraine consistently promotes together with its partners.
It is also worth recalling that in 2025, Russia carried out missile strikes on state and civilian facilities in Ukraine, in particular on government buildings.
For almost four years, Russian attacks have been systematically directed against civilian infrastructure:
— on children playgrounds,
— on public transport used by civilians;
— on kindergartens, hospitals, and theaters.
Among the most tragic symbols of these crimes are the Mariupol Drama Theater, the Okhmatdyt Children's Hospital, and attacks on civilian areas of Kharkiv, Kryvyi Rih, Sumy, and other Ukrainian cities.
Ukraine remains committed to the principles of international law, responsible diplomacy, and a just peace based on facts and truth, not on fake accusations.
