Ukrainian producers and exporters showcased the country’s agri-food sector at Gulfood 2026, held on January 26–30 in Dubai (UAE). The exhibition brought together over 8,500 companies from 195 countries, presenting more than 1.5 million product items.
The event was attended by representatives of the Government of Ukraine, including Taras Kachka, Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine, and Denys Bashlyk, Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine. Also present were Oleksandr Balanutsa, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the UAE, and Oleksii Liashenko, Consul of Ukraine in Dubai.
This year, Ukraine was represented by more than 70 exporting companies, including producers of organic and processed goods. The National Stand featured 10 companies offering a wide range of products: frozen, dried, and freeze-dried berries and fruits, snacks, juices, cereals, breakfast products, baby food, and other processed items.
Over five days, Ukrainian companies held more than 1,000 B2B meetings and established over 50 new contacts with partners from the UAE, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Israel, and other countries. Preliminary agreements were reached regarding the supply of certain product categories.
Participation in the exhibition confirmed strong international business interest in Ukrainian products and outlined prospects for expanding exports, particularly to Middle Eastern markets.
