The official delegation of Ukraine headed by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine Oleh Uruskyy took part in the international exhibition and conference of defense technologies "IDEX-2021".

During the event the head of the official delegation of Ukraine held a number of fruitful negotiations, including with His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs of the UAE, Commanders of the Armed Forces of countries participating in the exhibition, top managers of leading defense companies.

During "IDEX-2021" the constituent meeting of the Joint Commission on Military-Technical Cooperation between Ukraine and the UAE took place. The mechanism of the Commission will allow to intensify bilateral relations in the field of military-technical cooperation.

At the exhibition Ukraine demonstrated a number of developments and products: a model of the ground anti-ship missile system "Neptune", high-precision missile system "Vilha", samples of anti-tank missile systems "Scif" and "Corsar" and a model of reconnaissance-attack drone "Socil-300". In total more than a dozen of natural and scale models of military and dual-use products were presented at the Ukrainian stand.

The exhibition "IDEX-2021" is an extremely important platform for the enterprises of the defense-industrial complex of Ukraine, where participants establish new contacts and implement the reached agreements. For example, during this exhibition a number of contracts were signed with foreign partners, in particular the State Company “UKRSPECEXPORT” signed a contract with Pakistan for maintenance of T-80UD tanks for a total of 85.6 million US dollars and signed first contracts with the Emirati holding "EDGE Group" on the supply of Ukrainian products.
