From 21 to 30 November, Abu Dhabi hosted the WAKO World Kickboxing Championship, bringing together 1,964 athletes from 85 countries.

 Team Ukraine delivered an outstanding performance, winning:

🏅 8 gold medals

🥈 6 silver medals

🥉 9 bronze medals

Our national team proudly secured 3rd place in the overall team ranking — standing among the world’s strongest kickboxing nations.

The team of the Embassy of Ukraine in the UAE attended the championship finals, supporting our athletes and witnessing their remarkable determination, strength of character, and unwavering fighting spirit.

We are deeply proud of every member of our national team.

🤝 Ambassador of Ukraine to the UAE, Dr. Oleksandr Balanutsa, met with the Ukrainian delegation, thanking the athletes and coaches for their professionalism, resilience, and for proudly representing Ukraine on the global stage.
