«Responsibility for all human rights’ violations in Crimea rests on the Russian Federation as an occupying authority» - Pavlo Klimkin said during the meeting with the OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities Astrid Thors on 19 of March 2015.

During the meeting were expressed concerns about the deterioration of the conditions of guaranteeing rights of the Crimean Tatars and the Ukrainians as a consequence of the Russian aggression and illegal annexation of the Crimean peninsula.

It was underlined that the constant international monitoring of the current situation of the national minorities in all territory of Ukraine, with special emphasis on the Crimea, by the HCNM and the others international organizations is needed.
